Is DX:IW realy that good? I realise that it can´t even get close to the standard set by the first game, but with DX 3 in the works, I´ve been thinking about buying it. Should I?

I bought it recently, after it hit the $19.95 price point. And I'm enjoying it. Certainly worth $20.

I like it. If you don't compare it to the first game it's very good. I have it on xbox though, so I didn't have any of the technical problems that came with the PC version. In some ways that makes me feel lucky that my PC is so old that even the thought of running a new game causes it to have a nervous breakdown. Getting a nice shiny new PC for Half Life 2 :)
