True, but by this time (Nemesis) they already knew that this was pretty much going to wrap up the Next Gen stories. So they went for broke, knowing they would probably not be following up on events.
Even the tagline for the film was "A Generation's Final Journey".
edit: the Picard Song is hilarious. :)

Of course, DS9 took the 'no relationship' rule and kicked it out the airlock.

Dang! I probably just wanted it to be Chakotay, not Paris. My memory sometimes fails me. :(
Subtle. :p

Given the age of the Picard Song, shouldn't that be
Ye Olde Coole Pointtes?

Well,
1) Don't forget that this is a site dedicated to a great set of... uh... not exactly new computer games and a great development company (LGS) who stopped existing almost exactly 6 years ago... almost a year before DarkMateria did The Picard Song.
2) A great game in 1998 is still a great game now. What's funny in 2001 is still pretty funny now. And that recording is still hilarious. (If you're a ST fan).
3) I think the Old English may have been "col" and the Middle English, "cole". :cheeky:
4) There's nothing wrong with older things. But, as you get older you realize that you don't remember things the way you used to. It's easier to forget and have to return to the past to remember. Sometimes you just kinda forget things like... where you are.
Like the other day I was going to the store and... uh...
hmmmm...uhhh (shuffles the mouse and a pen around)
ah...
... Is this the "big purple spider" thread???

Thems might be fighting words.

Articulate as I might be, (god, I know that's gonna bite me in the arse one day) I'm still a weakling.
I think i'm going to staple myself to death. That way I will avoid any confrontation.
*fumbles through desk* ERK!!

Another one bites the dust.
My work here is done.
(Death by stapler; how very creative! I'm sure he won't mind if I borrow that in the future. :ebil: )
