Actually, kids today know what's up, as the current cartoon sticks closer to the original comic books.
According to Wikipedia, anyway. I haven't cared about the turtles in fifteen years.

I thought this would be about TheNightTerror's twin sister but then I realized I wasn't in Thief Gen after all.

Unfortunately Stitch for most of us the "hero" cartoons were the gateway drugs to the graphic novels

Same, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't care
now. Animation quality aside (it's only a teaser after all), this looks right on in the style department. If they manage to capture at least some of the darkness of the comics, I'll be happy to see it.

NINJA! NINJA! RAP!

Those bloody turtles killed off the ghostbusters, and for that reason I can not forgive them! (Meaning it was the year I started to grow up when all the rest of the kids wanted to play "teenager mutant ninja turtles" (cause ninjas are cooler than heros ofcourse) instead of sensible traditional games like, "transformers" or "the ghostbusters"... I was feeling old, at the age of six probably, but I can't be bothered to work it out properly.) One thing I could get behind in the movie though was the theme tune.

Cartoons? Movies? Go away. The comic books were what is was all about.
