An absolutely brilliant FM Schlock and Squadafroin (sorry thought it was Yandros - thanks for putting me straight Klatremus). You really know how to keep people on edge ;). Lots of nice touches and nifty surprises. Everything a nosy, kleptomaniac Jackdaw could wish for. Well done mate! 10/10

Don't think Yandros had any hand in this besides writing the first post. This is a mission by Schlock and Squadafroin I believe.

Can someone tell me where the lockpicks are?
mungomango on 22/6/2022 at 00:00
PaganZombie - you will only get the lockpicks when you loop through most of the map and (hopefully armed with a rope arrow) will have to go right back to the start to access the aquaducts. Takes a while.

Thanks.
I watched a YouTube walkthrough and now I'm on my way through this crazy mission.
The journey through the sewers reminded me of Half Life.

Why is this door closed? I've played through this mission before and completed it, but I don't remember this passage being blocked last time. Is there something I'm missing?
It's near the beginning in the sewers

That's the alcove with a fire raging inside which you go through to get to the vents, that door opens when you read or pick up something like a key back in the sewers.
boccaccio1812 on 11/3/2023 at 22:39
I have the key and read whatever was in the sewers, but the path is still blocked. The only way out I can find is unintended (opening the door to the aqueducts by reaching through the door and pulling the lever). I'm just trying to figure out the intended way

That door appears later in the mission. You can only go through the fire and up the ladder one time. Have you been through this room before? If so then you should pick open the metal door to the west and proceed.

First, a heads-up up for anybody looking to play this mission using T2Fix Lite - some objectives during the missions are not going to trigger. You need either standard T2Fix or just gen.osm file from it.
And if you have a habit of closing doors/gates behind you, forgo it for this mission. Otherwise you might get yourself stuck. To be honest I'm surprised the specific case I'm thinking about found its way into the release, even without considering the aforementioned habit.
With that out of the way, what an interesting FM! Effortlessly blends styles of Thief 1 and 2 together. The most interesting thing about it to me though was definitely the structure, on which I'm torn. While it offers a unique experience, which ultimately to me was a positive one, it also reveals the author's hand more than other missions. You're expected to put your trust in the way this mission flows.
Moment to moment gameplay is the strong suit here, making shortcomings of the unique design elements easier to forgive.
