I always thought it would be cool to have Jack back from the murky deep as a victorian-style robo-zombie pursuing his lost love in the sewers of New York City. It would be a gothic opera, a decadent yet inspiring steampunk masterpiece, reminiscent of such classics as Frankenstein, The Phantom of the Opera or Belphegor.
It would be called 1913. And it would be awesome.

My work colleagues and I all put in a pound to buy that on DVD, and watched it on our lunch breaks. As a film it's terrible. As a communal entertainment experience it's top notch.
