I wish there were a space exploration game that didn't rely so much on procedurally generated content. I don't mean the world design so much as the constant stream of repetitive tasks.
I recently spent a few weeks playing Rebel Galaxy, which is maybe an hour or two of handcrafted content broken up by tens of hours of grinding so that the next bit of handcrafted content is accessible. Which is a shame, because it's a mechanically solid game that reminds me quite a bit of Pirates! in space.

Well again Elite as I said :p. Though I'm not sure if that was procedurally generated or not. I've never played it. Only read about it in Retro Gamer magazine.
Your just dropped into a world with no guidance of what to do. Just go out and do it. Super ancient graphics though as the game came out in 1984. Quite amazing really. From memory the entire game takes up 48k of space. That's it.

Insider trading, apparently. I guess someone figured out the company was doing worse than publicly acknowledged and cashed out?

Welp. I don't give a shit about Payday 3 but this combined with Underworld Ascendant launching in a hot garbage state doesn't bode well for System Shock 3. (Context: Starbreeze is SS3's publisher and have invested $12mil into its development.)

Oh shit, I didn't know that. Grim news for SS3 indeed. :|

It's like history all over again. :(

Starbreeze are publishing Psychonauts 2 and they just dropped a trailer dated 2019 for that.
