Skin Deep demo was fun. I've had the game on my wishlist for a while now, so nice to see a demo for it.
I also played the latest Peripeteia demo today. It's the very opposite of Skin Deep in tone and style and... everything. Took a bit to get used to, but once I did, I find myself really liking it. I do remember an earlier demo I played years ago, which didn't convince me, but now I'm in.

Maybe it's more because I want the hype to be true than anything else, but I'm keeping my eye out on Blue Prince coming out on April 10: (

The presentation looks nothing special, but I've heard a ridiculous amount of praise for this game from reviewers, ranging from how this is their GOTY to it being the only game to sufficiently scratch that Obra Dinn / Outer Wilds itch...

I played the demo for Blue Prince last year, and at least the half hour I gave it left me feeling ambivalent about it. The conceit is that the house's layout changes every day, and you can only do a certain amount of exploration based on the resources you have, so there's an element of randomness and strategy in how you choose which rooms you want to explore. This isn't a bad system, nominally, but the random element to what you experience is not a plus to me, and planning which rooms you want to use in what should be an adventure-puzzler where the default mode is explore everything rubbed me the wrong way.
I'm not seeing anything near as wonderful as Outer Wilds or as interesting as Obra Dinn, but I only gave it that half hour. There could be more/better beyond that, and the final build could add some special sauce to that opening 30.

That article does a good job of describing it mechanically. I'd say if it overall made you hyped, you're probably more geared towards it than I am, so no need to let me douse the fire. The roguelike/card and strategy layer weren't things I felt warmly about, but if you're one of those people who like rogue-inspired randomness in an adventure (read: freaks), I see few reasons why it wouldn't be something you'd like.

Wreckfest 2 enters Early Access TODAY!

Early reports say that it looks like a million bucks and plays well, tho content is very limited, natch. Just 4 cars and a few tracks.

I think this is the most hyped I've been about a game in ages. If this were a Switch 2 exclusive I think I'd be an early console adopter for the first time.

BioForge?
It turned 30 a few days ago, and some guy is making a fan remaster.

There's a (
