Okay, so while I was hyped for MGS1-3 coming to PC in one package, there appears to be something about them that just (https://www.pcgamer.com/the-metal-gear-solid-master-collection-is-packed-with-bonuses-but-the-barebones-ports-offer-little-that-pc-emulators-dont-already-do-better/) makes me go !!??.

720p across all platforms is... interesting. And by 'interesting', I mean 'are you fucking mental, you absolute ass lords'. If this isn't a joke, I'd thought Konami had already reached its nadir, but it turns out there's no bottom to the barrel if it's just infinite barrels all the way down.

They actually re-clarified that it's 1080p/60 on all platforms apart from Switch (https://www.eurogamer.net/konami-confirms-metal-gear-solid-master-collection-vol-1-performance-stats-across-platforms) with Eurogamer. That's not terrible, but clearly the best thing to do is wait and see how it pans out. Their messaging around this has been pretty bad so far, which isn't promising.
