Just so long as you were drunk and/or high on zyme while doing it.
Jonesy on 28/8/2004 at 00:17
It's on the top floor of the room, on the right side when you come in. I think (trying to remember it in my mind) it's right by the "island" with computers on it. Something like that.
Edit: I 'borrowed' this picture from Denton's Databank on Planet Deus Ex.

The computer contains the code for the door, btw, and the key for the medical storeroom is behind the plant in Reyes room, the code key in Manderley's office opens up the hallway doors (storage closets.)

Shut up, you. You're sucking out all the joy of discovery.

Who's private Lloyd?

Sticking to my real-life fancies, I drank but didn't do drugs. Ooh... now I'm really tempted to go see the zyme effects...
And Jonesy, I appreciate the thought, but dude! Spoiler text stuff like that. I'd rather find out for myself.
NHJ BV, Private Lloyd is the dude at the front computer terminal who is always talking about how he was at the academy with you. Even if you don't kill things and other people talk about you, he consoles you and says he knows you can do more than prod and gas when the occasion calls for it. He just looks up to you and always has faith in you. *sniffles*
Man, leaving UNATCO was emotional... the parting words to Jaime and Alex, wondering if they would believe me, and trying desperately to zap everyone rather than kill them. Oh, except for Manderly. He knew what he was doing. I liked killing him.

Bah, it's not my fault that the spoiler tags don't work around images that well. I removed the image and put the link in tags if it makes you feel better now that I've sucked all the enjoyment out of Deus Ex for ya. :laff:
Seriously, the game has so many secrets that I'm still finding new stuff on my 6th or 7th runthrough. I never even noticed that till my 5th runthrough.
On a side note, anyone ever get the NSF guy out of there? He always dies due to the tranc darts for me.
Crowley on 28/8/2004 at 14:04
It didn't seem all that hard to me. Just tell him to wait while you clear out the enemies ahead and make sure it's far enough so he doesn't come to "help".
Jonesy on 28/8/2004 at 14:12
He still always manages to die due to some UNATCO trooper coming out and blasting him from nowhere. The guy is seriously suicidal.
Crowley on 28/8/2004 at 14:31
Well, at least I can assure you that it IS possible. I agree about suicidal tendencies, though. Who in their right mind does a frontal assault with only a knife on a guard with an assault rifle? However, if you want to know what happens if you save him...
Nothing really. Once you get outside he says something like "Thanks, I'll manage on my own from here." He's never seen or referred to again in any way.
Jonesy on 28/8/2004 at 14:33
Ah, I was expecting something more akin to when you save Smuggler.
