I thought I was, what with my level 26 Fighter/thief/mage...then I ran into some crazy bastard of a warrior, who claimed to have slain every daedra at least once, etc. He asked me if I could help him escape his tired existence through an honorable warrior's death (ie combat).
I figured, hey, I've killed damn near everything, how bad can this punk be...wrong...
He nearly handed me my ass (like 1/6 of my hit points each hit)...it was easily the closest battle I have been in since I broke 200 hit points and acquired some daedric armour long ago.
I found him east of Suran or so...anyone else?

Sounds like Umbra, but might not be since I fought him at level 21 or so and didn't have much trouble (then again, para spells are nice when you need to heal, and the Ward shield makes it very hard to die :p)
But if its someone else, then I might have to check him out.

The Orc? With the, "Oh, I'm the number one badass, you can't touch me."
Yeah... I've found him...
Yeah... I've killed him...
Is sad when you're level 63, yes? have 60 health a second regen? 300ac? Have a sword that procs a 300dmg fireball along with 80 dmg base?? reflect 100% of all spells? 100% camoflauge?? yeah... is sad. =\
DRAGONS PLZ!

Yup, that's Umbra...I killed him about 30 minutes ago (YEEEEEEHAAAAAAA)
My level 15 character (an archer with all glass armor, 85 pts longsword, 58 pts block, 54 pts light armor) killed him using an enchanted (3 sec paralisys) ebony longsword. About 80% of the paralisys attempts were resisted though. After the enchantment wore off, I switched to a poisoned glass longsword. Also used my tower shield spell and drank a ton of health potions.
The sword Umbra leaves you with is pretty nice damage wise, but I haven't found a good use for the 120 sec soultrap enchantment yet. Any ideas?

My magic user died to Umbra a number of times before I decided that I had better use my buffs before starting the fight. Normally (At level 46) I wasn't using my buffs, because I didn't need them. Fighting Umbra I definately needed my buffs. There was another good fight back when my magic user was level 40. The difficulty was caused by the fight being in an enclosed area. It probably wouldn't be tough for a fighter... but it was the guy in the guard tower on the Dren Plantation. He has a wicked sword. :) Most outdoor fights aren't all that tough though. I just wear my fly amulet and throw fireballs. :)
