They came for me even though I haven't even seen one of them before. Didn't make me feel warm and fuzzy, but I appreciated killing them, especially since it was a perfect opportunity to test my Atronach Stone.
And sweet tapdancing Jesus, it's awesome. I don't even know why would you want to use anything else. Even Lord is a joke compared to Atronach.

Same for me with Thalmor coming after me before having met them. It seems it happens if you kill any random altmer or something.
The "radiant story" system is broken in funny ways sometimes with its [insert name here] stuff. Apparently I caused quite a stir in Abandoned Shack when I used a shout there.

Yes, the "friend" seems to hear about everything you do. Also, it's interesting how the Courier always seems to track you down even if you're on top of a mountain.
After finding out about the fov command, I've had a go at wide angle photography.

Also, Alea the Huntress just saved me from death by Dwarven Centurion Master when I got stuck between some pipes in the ruins of Mzenchaleft. Clearly a good idea to equip her with a Glass Helmet of Eminent Archery. At least I was able to wriggle myself out afterwards...

- paralyzing a ritual mistress while she was at conjuring some demon. ("Catch the intruder" were her last words, then she lay on the ground like a brick. Ritual continued though :p ) *)
- finding out I also can paralyze ghosts with my arrows
- tagging along with a talking dog
*) Note that this was my second go at this scene; In the previous save game, the ritual was stopped all of the sudden without me being near them. Turned out, they got attacked by their own Draugr thanes...

Good old Barbas...
I've been doing some soul trapping, but was disappointed that a troll only fills a lesser soul gem, and I need some sort of mega gem to trap a human soul apparently.
Also mass-producing Iron daggers to raise smithing skills. There are few games that would cause one to perform tedious repetitive tasks with determination.

You need black soul gems for npcs. They're rare, found mostly in necromancer dungeons and the like. I haven't found anyone who sells them. However, one of the options for finishing Azura's quest can get you a reusable one.

Both options give you one actually because of a bug.

I've stolen one black soul gem but used it for an enchantment. I came across a few with another character, but only passing about level 30 did they turn up more regularly it seemed...

This week I've mostly been doing a lot of radiant quests, which can get tedious after a time. But I'm still trying to increase all my levels, especially in magicka, because it looks like you can get new quests after you raise certain levels up to 90. Otherwise, still waiting for that damned Creation Kit.
