- Activating my first shout - thunderstorm (or whatever it is called) - and already lightened up some bandits I ran into
- Fighting an ice dragon - a fierce battle!
- Helping a bard ghost

So I had to go to a nazi Thalmor party. I arrived at the place naked save for an amulet of Talos around my neck.
Sadly they chose to just ignore my trolling and act like nothing's wrong.

Pics or it didn't happen.

Speaking of disappointments, I fought my first Daedra today. One dual-casted Firebolt almost killed him.
Sometimes level scaling just fails.

Got a Daedra of my own; not much to look at, but man, can that guy move! Seems pretty resilient to even high-level Necromancers, Draugrs, etc. But that God-awful sound it makes when its alloted time runs out is downright spooky! I do get frustrated at how often I have to recharge the Sanguine Rose, among other enchanted weapons, though. And even though the 'Rose is a powerful weapon, I kinda feel a little silly running around with a flower in one hand and a wicked-looking shortsword in another.
Speaking of frustration, I joined the Stormcloaks, got a quest from Ulfric, but couldn't advance in the quest because the Jarl of Whiterun wasn't responding with the proper dialogue. I'm wondering if the fact that Odahving is still trapped on Dragonreach's palace porch has something to do with it. I've already become a Thane of Whiterun, so I don't think there were any more Jarl-related quests to do for that city which might prevent the Jarl from responding with the appropriate dialogue. I ended up using console commands to finish that quest, but now Ulfric won't give me the 'Battle for Whiterun' quest. Something's definitely glitchy here. (The reason the dragon is still trapped is because I don't want to do the last part of the main quest yet. It's conceivable that Whiterun's Jarl might want the dragon gone before he advances to another quest.)
@vHS: love the pic! (You handsome devil, you.) ;)

- Finding a glass bow - booya!
- Raiding another bandits home (For some reason, whenever I run across some I hear Hagar in my head "We got bandits!")
- Venturing through another Falmer cave. One even had some dwemer scrap metal which got me excited to possibly break through to a buried Dwemer ruin, but no. It's been days since I came to a proper ruin now. :erg:

You explore Dwaraven ruins regularly and you're excited about a Glass Bow?
Now that 1.3 is out I started a new char... again. I wonder if I ever actually finish the game instead of restarting it over and over? This time I'm taking it easy - not exploring dungeons without a "reason"(bouty, quest, etc.) and using only items I make myself(except for the pickaxe, but I'd gladly smith one if I could).
Hope I'll get lucky with a spell tome like the last time. Let me tell you, using Flames for 30 levels is not very effective.
VH: What race are you?

@Koki: Wood elf.
Seen some great underground locations lately, first a magical forest grove, then an entire castle inside a cave, then Blackreach, which is just awesome.
Also, I found that little scene of Esbern telling his dream to Delphine quite touching.

Eh?
The most exciting thing to find in a Dwemer ruin is a Fork. Apparently the Dwemer were the only race of Tamriel who figured out how to make the damned things with more than two tines.
Big-Head's head would assplode.
(More to the point, if you're lvl 30-something and you come across a leveled chest, ANYWHERE, it ought not surprise you if there's a Glass weapon inside. You're overthinking this shit.)
