- Raiding a few caves here and there
- Walking the 7000 steps to High Hrothgar and talked with the Greybeards a bit. Is my initiation now complete? I know about ten shouts now and still can't select them although I have two more dragon souls after the first one. :erg:

A dragon attacked Riverwood yesterday and both Alvor and his wife died. And their daughter walked to the bodies and was like "Oh gods this can't be happening". Then she just sat on a bench staring and reacted only with "I don't want to talk about it".
It was pretty cool. I wonder if someone will take over, I heard that was supposed to happen? Or is it just shopkeepers?
Also killed my first Dragon Priest, though it was not exactly an epic battle as his AI glitched to completely ignore me... again.

I used to kill dragons like you....Then I took an arrow in the head and had to reload my savegame...

-Received strange letter from "A Friend" directing me to a word of power...
-Scare the hell out of people shouting all over towns, until the Guards came and asked me to stop....Then I fast travelled to another town aand repeated the process untill receiving another of those letters from "A Friend"

-Been trying to get as many Words as possible & level up as I prepare to face Alduin. Just discovered that the final three Shouts I've yet to get all three words for are quest-related and I don't think you can get access to those Word Wall sites until you get to that point in each quest.
-Also discovered that if you forget to put your armor back on (something I usually forget to do after improving my armor at the local smithy), NPCs will actually act offended & tell you to go get dressed. :o
-Stopped giving my companion-of-the-day enchanted weapons because I keep forgetting to recharge them and if they're not recharged they disappear from the companion's inventory. Also wish there was a way to add more weapons racks to some of my homes; running out of places to display all my wicked-beautiful stuff. I just found out that the Creation Kit won't be released til Jan. 2012. Sucks.

But, to my defense, the error message "You need a dragon soul" is not very specific whereas "You need to unlock it" or even "Do you want to unlock this shout?" would be an incredible boost of usability.

I think it did happen. At least some guy I've never seen before charged at me with an axe when I entered Riverwood. Somehow everyone inside turned hostile; only the citizens though - guards just didn't care.
Whiterun was safe except for that armored chick from the tavern who joined Silver Hand and attacked Jorrvaskr. Inside the Jarl's palace everyone gangbanged me though.
During the [spoiler]funeral of Kodlak[/spoiler], though both Jarl and Inereth were there, they weren't hostile anymore and neither is anyone inside of the palace.
I guess it's just the Companion questline hiccup? I wonder if Riverwood calmed down as well, I need to return there to talk with Delphine.

Haven't spotted a dragon in several game days; maybe it's because I ditched Delphine at the inn after getting you-know what back from her. Right now I'm more interested in exploring. Trying to make a circuit of all the major cities: Went from Whiterun to Falkreath, and from there to Markarth. Now I'm about to head from there to Solitude.
Saw something odd outside the miner's hut by Kolskeggr: A mercenary dressed all in Orcish, standing by the chicken roost, scattering flowers from a basket.
