I tried out the Arx demo before and didn't like it... I might give it another shot. However.... well...

One of the things that really annoys me about the game is that the main character is ugly. All the faces are pretty bad, but on top of that he slouches and his arms lean forward! Now I know he's not a supermodel, but... I'd at least like to play a decent looking character...

Any way to get around it? :angel:

You must use Bio's solution to everything:

Duct tape.

Get a piece, and put it on the screen. Try to keep putting pieces on every part of the screen where his face appears so you won't turn to stone. If you run out of screen, I hope you have really good hearing. ;)

But to be serious, no, there is no way to give your guy a facial.

Too bad... maybe I'll enjoy Arx 2 as much as the Underworld games then. I have they have better looking players :P.

Seriously you were exepecting Brad Pitt to play in this game. Arx is trying to give the impression of brutal times. People were rugged and unkempt. To make the main character into some sort of baby faced prima-donna in the middle of it all would just ruin the game totally.
