Okay I just have to step in here and ask: is it just me or are the only ones who wear jeans a LOT women? Maybe it's a generation thing, I just havn't noticed that many dudes around campus with jeans on. Then again this is Florida so folks go for the shorts mostly. I'm just curious if this is maybe more for women? If so, George should be shot (see previous post)

Apparently the people who wear jeans are the ones with the coherent grammar.

That's because tight jeans make the blood rush to your head.

I wear jeans every day. They are singlehandedly the most comfortable fabric I can wear. Khakis and other kinds of pants itch like motherfuckers and I hate them.

That depends on who's wearing them and how well they fit. Sometimes the blood rushes elsewhere...

QFT. Jeans are the pants of choice for me simply because I don't have to think about them. You pussies want to stand in front of a mirror for two hours in the morning admiring how your ass looks in your new pair of tan chinos, be my guest. I've got shit to do.

Fashion should change over time, and jeans are still around in pretty much the exact same way (with only slightly different cuts) as they were at their creation.
Why exactly is that a bad thing? Fashion changes as the people want it to change. The fact that jeans are still around just means that people still like and wear them.

I hate sounding like some sort of fashion Nazi here, because I certainly am not, but it doesn't require a great of skill to match up a shirt and a pair of pants of differing colors on occasion.
It's easy enough to say that, but I have no skill in this area at all. I tried matching stuff up before - it always ends in disaster. I know enough to not wear black with blue or differing shades of blue together, but that's about it. Though I am a bit lucky in that my t-shirts all go with at least one pair of pants/shorts.

They're not the only ones, but they do wear jeans a lot, mostly because the tight jean look is currently in. I live in VA though, and I see plenty of jeans around, especially when it's colder. As you said, Florida (and presumably anywhere else where it's warmer more often than not) would be different due to the temperature.
As a side note, the tight jean look for guys needs to die. Now.
