Thanks for linking that. I hadn't realised it was on the wider Net. I listened to it on the radio when it was on last Friday. I nearly put the fucking steering wheel through the radio. I thought Colm O'Gorman handled him excellently though.
(

Wow DC. That was so heartbreaking. It's even more heartbreaking to know how many other adults are still struggling emotionally and mentally because they were victims of rape by clergy members.
I just keep wondering when the governments are going to really do something to force the R.C. church to make those offending clergy accountable for their actions instead of continuing to protect them.

By protecting them they are accessories to a crime. It's hard to believe they actually believe in the God they purport to. How many hail Marys does it take to clear ones soul of such a stain? How can there ever be enough? The only person a child trusts more is thier parents and horribly for them they urged thier children to trust these so called "men of God".
Whether it is done by the parents or some other authority they trust the impact on the child is permanent. No matter how any other person may treat them for the rest of thier lives they will never completely forget. Trust hysterical me on this.
The RC church hasn't just shot themselves in the foot. They shot themselves in the heart and exposed the fact they don't really have one. No government should allow them to escape unscathed by dent of what they claim to believe. They don't apparently. Perhaps better men will take thier place but those guilty of protecting these priests are not them.
I'm somewhat less forgiving than thier God as you may have noticed though. This thread is poison to my well being so I can't come back to it. Much better to take my nephew fishing.

Not that I'm disagreeing with your general sentiment but don't mix metaphors. It's unbecoming.

They didn't shoot themselves in thier grammar.

You can listen to both parts of the Donohue-O'Gorman radio debate (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKLlxAgMO-w&feature=related) here. God almighty is Donohue a disingenuous, propogandist bucket of shit. Thankfully O'Gorman has the poise and the articulation to utterly destroy the prick.

The simple reason to don't go anymore to the church is earthquakes, tsunami or any natural catastrophe, or maybe also an accident: why god who should love us would kill us like this? Placing non sense rules of don't kill anyone while he kill without a valid reason million and million of humans and other animals. god yeah, exists, but surely he's not a god of love, he is impartial.
