I prefer my chicken grilled and off the bone. Fried is for heathens.
Unless they're chicken fingers.

Fried chickens for heathens? Damn, I guess I'd better go start sodomizing and worshiping horned gods.
I'm actually eating a piece of fried chicken as we speak. But I'll meet Renz halfway, since it is off the bone. I like it better if you scrape it off those bones first, since your just going to wind up doing that when you eat it anyway. :thumb:

Yup, fried chicken is for pagan heathens all worshiping goats and back door banging like straight up motherfuckers. And here's why I think that:
See, grilled chicken is, 99% of the time, marinated or injected with something that usually helps enhance the flavor. With fried chicken though, about the only tasty part is the skin. Once you're done with that, the only thing you have left is the bland, regular chicken underneath. The only exceptions I've found to this are KFC, which is usually so greasy I feel like I'm drinking it as much as chewing, or Buffalo Wings, which are so small they take in all the flavor from the sauce when you cook them.
Plus you can do more with grilled chicken. Stuff them with cheeses, sauces, vegetables, and whatnot. The only thing you can do with fried chicken is add more spices to the batter. But then you end up with the problem of the skin being the best part.
So grilled chicken all the way!

you can fry stuff without deepfrying it, and still add all those things.

I wonder if there's a way to embed the entirety of Bamboozled into this thread.

(watermelon is awesome and salt is for LOSERS)

Another straight off the vine vote. Never did get the yellow meated thing though. Just sweeter and blander.
No skin on fried chicken. If it's done right you don't need it, just moms greasy thicknin gravy on mashed potatos and homemade bisquits. It might not be healthy but some things are worth dying for son.

This is so wrong. I can't even start to explain to you where, why, and how wrong it is. It's just boggling, and unless you're being sarcastic I can only surmise that a) you can't cook, b) no one around you can cook, and c) there's a tapeworm living in your brain. A brainworm, if you will.
Fried chicken is one of the best things out there, and I shall demonstrate this tonight in my own kitchen. I will be eating succulent, juicy spicy crunchy perfect fried chicken. And you will be weeping into your filth-crusted grilled chicken. And all your neighbours will laugh. And point. And enjoy my fried chicken.
Because seriously.
Fried chicken.
Fried chicken.
(edit: Also no skin on fried chicken. Are you retard?)
(edit 2: Also why aren't you brining ALL chicken? Or, more specifically, why do you think fried chicken never gets brined or marinated? I really do think you've only had the chance to eat sub-par fried chicken. Because it's really, really a lot better than you seem to believe.)
