mc frontalot is what's right with nerdcore
and yeah, word on the MC 900 ft Jesus... Love that guy to death, but he got so sick of the industry (and etc) that he went back to working in a bookstore and now we won't get any new albums >:(

My guess is it's not race but the things they rap about... Not too many motherfucking pimps and hos in Finland.
Here comes the GBM. I am at peace.
Oh hai GBM, not a stillborn post today I see, but a bit of a downie.

Way too much sc sc sc scratchpad for my liking. The beat would have been way more interested if he had stuck to cutting up the samples.
Also Vivian if you're talking about glitchy beats than stopping wasting time, go to the fucking source and listen to Dilla.

Nerdcore huh? I suppose that makes the name a reference to the henchman on Naruto who works for the bad guy with the snake powers...

...the inherent gimmick of the genre.
Regardless of whether Cooley-V-Hole, or whatever the fuck, has managed to rise above gimmickry, I wonder why musicians feel they need to resort to some sort of gimmick in the first place instead of just making, I don't know, music. It's like Lady Ga Ga recently saying that for her it's more about the show and the persona than the music, yet she's a top selling musician. Go figure.

I forgot to say that regardless of what I think about the music, Ill Ron Hubbard is a fucking genius MC title. Worthy of Kool Keith himself, I would say. Ercles, as in J Dilla? my old flatmate wouldn't shut up about that guy, but ive never actually listened to any of it.

Maybe his follow up album could be Isaac New-Tones.
That's two Isaac Newton references in one day!

This is one of these moments I wish normal boards had the sage option.
