Apart from proving that your are incapable of having a normal relationship, what was the point of all of this BloodCat?
BloodCat on 7/12/2008 at 22:38
It's just a metaphor I used to make a point more clear. Are you not accustomed at all with relationships sometimes being a bit of a power struggle?
"Just be real." That's nice but also a bit naïve in my opinion. It might work sometimes but in other cases you can't just rush in with a truth like that.

...been married for over fifteen years, successfully, because everyday is real. We don't play games with each other, or have any bullshit "power-struggle" notions. We share our existence, and have overcome tremendously difficult decisions and times in our lives.
Truly if you are incapable of doing that without a "power-struggle" then you're nothing more than a vapid child that needs to grow up a bit.

Oh yes, I want to get there, to that everyday life, and I don't enjoy not being able to tell her how I feel. I used to be an old school romantic just like you. I learned the hard way that women are not generally pleasantly surprised to hear a man loves them. There has to be a bit of a challenge or the man becomes unattractive. I'm glad it worked out so well for you though.

Then find one that is, damn it! Quit chasing the vacuous club-slime and find yourself a nice girl that likes to put out (just like my mom always said).
Old-school romantic... Aren't I the guy that said you should wear her scalp like hat?
BloodCat on 7/12/2008 at 23:15
It would be easy to find one like that. In fact I've found a few of 'em already. I used to be with one to boot. And when I said K got jealous it was because she could see, just like me, that the girl I had taken to the club, was very much into me. But unlike K that girl was boring and vacuous for me. As are most others I could get that effortlessly. I enjoy a bit of a challenge myself. But it's not just that. K is actually a very smart, sensitive and sexy woman. Heh.

Bloodcat sounds like the male equivalent of those women who only like bad men but wish they didn't.
BloodCat on 8/12/2008 at 00:18
Okay, my own fault, right? At least as far as one can choose with whom he falls in love with.
It's not that I'm whining or complaining, I just wanted some advice because it's not that easy. She's worth it though.
Scots Taffer: I do not think she's "bad", whatever that means, nor do I wish I could love someone else.
