Alright, ive logged 25-30 hours into the game, am lvl 47, and am a total god. i havent cheated once, used console, used the editor, or found stuff on forums. i am physically unable to die. i have atronach sign, and some cuirass i found in Tel Fyr. this gives me 110% magic immunity. Next, i have the necromancers ammy thing (more magic resistnace, health regen, and phys weapon 25% immunity) plus the robe of St. Roris. i am, literally invincible. with 600K gold, i have made the best spells/enchantments possible, and can do anything, at any time. frankly, im kinda disappointed.

I've had all that stuff too (well, mostly) and it made me invincible. Guess what I did? I got rid of it. *gasp*
I have few items now and am enjoying myself immensely.

Did you focus most of those 25-30 hours specificlly on leveling up, or on wandering / exploring / miniquests? For myself, the first 3-4 days that I played the game, I didn't gain a level, because I was too excited to see what was in the next house, the next town, what this person or that person would say to me.
Plus, I avoid combat as often as humanly possible. Anytime I'm not in the towns I'm in Sneak, to avoid having to put up with the near-constant barrage of cliff racers, rats, crabs, and nixhouds. So, aside from Sneak (and Short Blade, but only because I purchased the heck out of that training), my skills are very average.
How far along are you on quests / different guilds and factions / exploration?

Considering you're supposed to beat the game around level 30 or so, it's no wonder you're invincible.

Me too... me too. That's the real meat of the game to me. Spreading out and seeing everything. :)

hmm
I wonder if you could cancel the ability to level up after level 20 via the editor?
in my DF characters, I rarely remember going above level 20
also, DF was always challenging, despite poor AI etc. I think it was something to do with the number of enemies too..

in terms of guilds, i am leader of mage, cult, temple, and telvanni. about halfway thru blades

did you post that to look cool? It doesn't really matter this isn't really a game about just pgaming, you can have fun any way you want. Its not like actual skills come into effect with the base combat system, if you wana be uber go own at a FPS or something =)

Well, I haven't been concentrating on leveling up, but I have explored the wilderness a bit, and I tend to fight more often than avoid (with one unfortunate exception, see my post :)) and it's taking me what seem ages to gain levels.
I think you get from this game what you put into it, and if you deliberately try to level up as fast as possible, it is no surprise you will soon find the game to easy.

Perhaps, but i dont deliberately try to level. I never have, and i never will. In doing all the quests given to me, I lvled up on my own. And, frankly, i dont see how u guys can say u wander all over the wilderness w/o gaining EXP. I like this game because of battle, so i relish it, not avoid it. its just really ez to lvl up, even with totally normal means.
