Come on. You must think everyone here is really stupid. You've backed every single design decision EM has made so far, and haven't uttered a single word of criticism. If you're going to go undercover, at least try not to be so completely transparent with your intentions.
Clearly, by your own logic, everyone here (the 'everyone' you refer to) must be really stupid.
MUST I find something to criticise?
In what way am I undercover?
Pray tell, what are my intentions?

I don't think Adam really would want any of us over at the Eidos boards. It's hard enough just lurking, seeing all the ToU violations and memberating going on by people who used to stand defiantly against it.
Anyway, like I've said, I hope I don't see pre-measured wall heights and crates, all perfectly suited for 3rd-person cover, but rather, a varied and organic environment that looks like the carpenters, engineers, and construction workers didn't have Garrett's height and weight in mind.

In Thief 1 and 2: small crates were the right size for a step, medium were perfect for hiding behind and stacking, large were perfect for mantling onto.
You don't want this in the new game? Interesting.
In real life: many walls ARE the right height for crouching behind.

Adam/EM/the forum welcomes all. There is no bias.
What is not welcome are personal attacks, immature posts and repetitive nonsense etc. People can go elsewhere to participate in this kind of thing, right? ;)
As for your claim. Anyone who violates the Eidos ToU is dealt with via PM. Serious warnings and infractions are rarely made public, to show respect to the person(s) in question.

That's idiotic.
They don't deserve respect and letting everyone know that X was banned because doing Y is unacceptable is a deterrent.
No wonder that place is swarming with fools. That's another reason to not go back.

Well, I don't make the rules or procedures... I just follow them.
When I said respect; I meant in terms of avoiding unnecessary drama on the public board, for all parties concerned.
You don't need to have a public spectacle for X to understand that doing Y is unacceptable. A PM will suffice, or a friendly reminder in the thread.

This place is swarming with fools too; but you're still here... and so am I. :ebil:
Anyway... there are less fools there than there are here. :p

Sweets, you can't possibly say that with a straight face. :laff:

Sugar, I can indeed say it with a straight face. :p
My reply, however, was intended as humour to join in on the banter. I don't "seriously" stereotype people... that would be a foolish thing for anyone to do.
I can certainly be fair to the majority here... they are not idiots. Of course not!
Truth be told, there are fools on every forum. You have yours.... and the official forum has its own.
