If you're a thief and want to get rich fast in Morrowind, just knock off the House Treasuries in Vivec. Simple as that.

What I find ironic is that the ultimate thief is a mage.... aside from chameleon and invisibility spells, which as stated by eight ball more or less make sneak skill redundant... THE best spell for knocking things off is telekenesis.
You see, as the game engine works, if your not seen commiting a crime, it did not happen. This more or less works out that if there is nobody in your line of sight when you do something, the crime isnt listed.
Now.... pretty much every hard to steal object in the game can be got by hiding behind a pillar half way across the room and taking the object with tekenesis... you just have to find a spot where you can see what you want to take but nobody else can see you.

Telekinesis should be VERY fun in TESIV... Imagine trying to move the object by hand across the screen, weaving through peoples heads... Better yet, it would be extremely fun to pick up a sword with telekinesis, then drop it point first on their head.

Somehow I don't think lobbing a chunk of Luminous Russula ar someones head would quite give the same effect... :P
but yeah, having the object fly through the air towards you would be kinda cool... although I they would then have officially NO viable excuse for it to be used right under someones nose and to get away with it.
