I'm on a quest for Sugar-Lips to take the Dwemer artifact from Mebestien Ence so's I can blackmail the guard in Pelagiad to release New-Shoes Bragor from jail. [Whew!.....That's a mouth full :D] I've looked all over his shop but I can't seem to find the artifact in question. Does anyone know where this thing is at ? Thanks in advance. :)

I think it's in one of the chests. I just killed the poor fool and ran before I got killed by the guard! Then, I talked to the bounty dude in the cornerclub to remove the bounty. Later, I went back to his shop, lockpicked the chest (the guard doesn't care but Mebastian does) and stole the artifact. Easy! (Yeah right, this is one of the guild's hardest missions because of your same problem).

I almost killed both the guard and the trader. (Almost) I figured it was locked up somewheres safe. I think I'll wait until I become more powerfull before I attempt to get the thing. If I'm going to get thrown in jail I might as well get my moneys worth and kill the guard too! If you don't know, the best way to surrender, is to strip down to your underwear and give up. Stash your stolen loot in plan sight if you have too since there is no sense in them getting it all. :)

I pickpocketed mebestian to get the key off of him. But the key didn't open the safe upstairs, and I just had to pick the lock instead. What use is mebestian key anyway?
