Hm... And do the arrows actually work for you to blow off candles and torches? Never worked for me :(

The arrows work in dungeons, etc not in homes or the city streets. What I'm after is trying to get a 'splash' style effect on contact - when the arrow strikes a surface

Make sure you read the readme, especially the part about using OBSE and whatnot.
Iain, a water splash is doable and would add that little Thief touch.
Used to be a puff of smoke but I wasn't happy with it.
On the to-do list now, thanks for the suggestion.

I managed by using a separate quest to control the sound :D and used a similar script to the one used on the noise arrow - changed a few and gave a new name to it and assigned it to a custom object. It looks a bit better now...
suggestion: Why not enable dousing for the outside lights in the city streets (maybe the larger ones indoors as well)? In TDS the candles are killable too - just activate them - can a script be made that enables activation of candles in order to kill them?
I think that would make OB more thief-like. Would I need to make new scripts for ALL the unconfigured lights? I'm willing to help out with TA in the scripting area if someone could give me a heads-up on it.
I don't intend on overloading u or anything like that - take your time with the mod, it's great so far and hasn't BSoDed my windoze ( :ebil: )
BTW I think the smoke puff effect would be ideal for when a water arrow hits an open flame like a torch or a fire in a sconce or even a carryable torch like the thief 3 days :ebil:
in Thief 3 the noise arrow does its thing where it sticks, can the noise effect object (invisible pearl) be made unresponsive to physics, so it doesn't move? my water splash using a similar idea also falls to the floor before it vanishes

scruggs, i have been trying to contact you for ages man! hope u have tabbs on foarms. its jsut that "Thieves Arsonal" does not work and i wonder what i've dont wrong,
i do have OBSE and i have done the readnames (whater the spelling) but i dont know exactly where to put the folders, lol i put them like obse, all of them, can u help me?

extract the thieves' arsenal archive directly into ur data folder keeping folder names as well
