Why, thank you for your declaration of allegiance!
...I'm coming to realize that the ellipsis is truly a double edged sword. One that can be used for both good and evil.

Full quote regarding animations:
Actually, if you're going to get preachy about me not quoting the whole thing, you might want to get the quote right.
It's not: "seeing how he can react to that was the biggist inspiration. At the begnning of the project I spent a lot of time involved with the animation side".
It's: "seeing how he can react to that was the biggest inspiration,
so at the beginning of the project I spent a lot of time involved with the animation side".
They're not two unconnected statements.
His answer was that "seeing how he can react" from the "animation side" was "the biggest inspiration".
Feel free to point out where you think I've misinterpreted that.
Quote:
to an animator how a character moves is fundamental to what and who that character is.
That might be true, and certainly fits EM's statement that the constant hand-waving on screen is crucial to Garrett's character (though it strikes me as rubbish). However, animators aren't the ones writing the story, are they?
(although that
would explain tripe like: "I am one man; I hear your secrets, see your hidden truths.
I am the shadows, the dark and deadly, the velvet night. ")

Like many people, he regularly uses "so" as a filler word. If I put in every "so" he pronounced and used it as a joining phrase, the entire quote would be one long big sentence, which clearly isn't right.
I would definitely not be getting caught up on the word. It's one thing to do that when you're reading a carefully written statement, but when you're listening to someone speak in conversation, well ... people pick up these non-grammatical habits all the time.
That's not to say you can't argue that the two statements are connected. But the "so" in between isn't a good argument in this instance.

You see more of Garrett in this game than you do in any other, even while in first person. You see his hands (a little too often, admittedly), his arms, his feet.
Can we see his ... pecker?

Yes. Yes we can.

THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WE ALLOW TO MODERATE US? IT'S LIKE THE CRAZY PEOPLE TAKING OVER THE ASYLUM OVER HERE! WORLD'S GOING TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET! HOLY DAMN!
Wang physics.

No Renz, you are the moderators.
Renzatic on 28/6/2013 at 05:31
That's not true. No. That's a lie. THAT CAN'T BE POSSIBLE!
...and here's why. For one, there aren't all that many people here posting with embarrassing custom tags under their names. Barring a couple of exceptions, they're all just plain old "members". Were I a moderator, this wouldn't be the case.
For two...well...eh. Don't think it matters what else I'd do, really. The first point was enough.
