Beautiful mission, unfortunately, end up with two church towers and daggers. Even though I'm running as fast as possible, skipping balconies etc, I managed to get up to the edge of the white circle around the dagger. It's a shame but the time limit is too short. I understand that the author or authors wanted to make it difficult for the players but rather that player turn. Unfortunately. I played on expert

Hello,
my english is really bad, so sorry for that.
I play the Thief's Rising Gold Version, which seems to have lots of differences compairing to older versions.
I'm stuck at mission 6. I cannot find the bottle of vine, empty or not. I was in the storehouse and found the crate with the bottles, but wasn't able to frob one of them. I'm not sure, if I have to find a bottle of vine or to produce my own one.
So please, could someone give me a hint, what to do or where to go.
Thanks

Hi guys.
I'm new to this forums business but just wanted to let all you Thief DS FM fans know of an 8 level campaign that I have (for the most part) completed building.
It's no where near as polished as I would have liked, as I still have a lot to learn about map building, particularly on the point of AI interactive conversations, etc, along with many other aspects. But I have spent a full year of my spare time learning how and building it, with help from Komags tutorial and, of course, the ttlg forums, and don't wish to spend any more of my life on it.
This campaign is about a new character, who shall remain annonymous, who's young life takes a turn for the worse and is forced to live on the streets where he begins his life of thievery. Set shortly after the demise of the Hag, in a different city on an island far off the shore of the Docks. The story unfolds over eight consecutive, single loading, missions, but forces a very stealth intensive style of play, so if you don't like that, don't play it!
Having play tested it myself, countless times, despite knowing what to do, each level takes an average of one hour to complete.
Hope you enjoy playing it as much as I have enjoyed building it.
Thief's Rising has now been superseded by
Thief's Rising - Gold Edition, which you can get here;

In Mission 2, where is this Gold Wine Bottle that I need for the Objective to tick off?..

I'm also stuck with the bottle.
Edit: I forgot to check the gold thread. There I found the solution. Sorry for the disturbing.

I've started playing and I'm on Mission 1. I'm short of 20% of loot, and I don't know where else to look. I feel I've been all over that first section. Is there a walkthrough for this mission?

Are play playing the original Thief Rising or the updated Thief RisingGE? They are have significant differences both in gameplay and loot, Thief RisingGE is certainly easier in some places, so you may be advised to play that version.

I'm playing Thief Rising Gold. Thanks for the walkthrough :cheeky:
