Thanks Gnarts, but no
highlighting barrels for me. I think I encountered a bug here. I try to revert to an older save.
Apologies for my late response, but I don't check this thread very often for updates.
Silly question, I know, but might you already have
filled the bottle with wine? Check your inventory to see what type of bottle you are carrying. If I remember the scripts correctly (It was a while ago now and so I might be wrong),
in order for you to be able to access the factory you had to have filled the bottle already.

The bottle I found does not register in the inventory. Ik can just pick it up as an non-loot item, so when I take it I have to drop it in order to be able to do anything else. I found it on one of the desks in the entrance office of the warehouse. In my inventory I have a "tracer lens", a "docks guard key" and an "office key". I also found a bottle of wine in loading bay A that registered as loot and my lootlist shows 4 "fine wine" with a value of 100. The objective to find an empty bottle is not ticked off, so I must have the wrong bottle i guess.
Thanks for the help.

Hmmm... just checked my loot-list.
There is a bottle in bay A which is loot. So that part is not neccessarily wrong.
But obviously you missed the correct bottle... and I am confused a bit as well how you made it to the black guys then.
Anyway:
Check the bay at the far right as you enter. Might be labeled A or D, don't know out of my head.
Check the crates. One of them can be opened.
Long Finger on 11/7/2013 at 21:46
Yes, that is the one I found but the objective did not tick off. I will try tomorrow with an earlier save.

OK, I see now.
In the same bay as the loot bottle in the crate, you need to climb over the crates and get to the very back of the bay. There is another crate that you drop down onto, that can be opened and this one contains the empty bottle that you need.As for the factory access, thinking about it now, this is allowed when you read the note that gives you the objectives to make your own bottle of wine. So I was wrong when I said that in order to get into the factory you had to have the bottle filled already.

Thanks Adsk1, I have been climbing over those crates several times but did not find the second bottle. This will be of help I think.
By the way, that must have been a huge effort to build this whole mission set. More than 10 years ago I made one little test level for T2 (called Chasing Sergeant Chase). Just to get an impression how this was done. That took me, if I remember correctly all the spare time from more than 3 months. I guess that the T3 editor is n't any quicker than dromed, so my compliments, great effort.

Thanks for the compliments, much appreciated.
I think 3 months is a round about reasonable time to begin with, the learning curve is a timely process, but with experience, the whole process speeds up significantly. The Mansion mission was the first map I did and I'd probably say that initially it took a good four months as I learnt the editor's capabilities and limitations. Even then, as you can see from the problems noted in this thread, I still didn't know it inside-out, and that was after several re-visits to the mission to make modifications. All-in-all, about two years of my spare time went into this project and not to mention the time that Gnartsch put into it for the translations as well as the invaluable beta-testing and additional ideas.
While I've never used DromEd myself, I can't imagine any game mission editor being a quick process and as technology progresses I imagine the whole process will only take longer. So, while I'm looking forward to having a crack at making missions for the new Thief game, if and when an editor becomes available, I'm also apprehensive about it, as it will most likely involve several months of understanding the new engines systems and capabilities.
Anyway, thanks for playing, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the campaign.

How are we supposed to leave in the end of mission 5?
I've just jumped off the bridge, but took some damage, that was carried on to the next mission.
gnartsch on 14/7/2013 at 20:31
That's the only way.
But if you do it right, you can crouch and slowly drop down onto the railing/statue below and take no damage at all.

Started this mission, saw all the twists and turns and decided right there and then to wait till I have the energy to map it out (or I'll go crazy thinking I might I've missed something).
So today I finally got to doing it, and in the tree house I read about "keys under this pedestal", but couldn't find them. I don't think there is really a need for them, but are they there to be found? Also, can you get to the floor where the stairs are leading to?
Thanks,
Liz
