Can someone please give me a quick hint on how to start this mission ?
I've knocked on some cabine doors (ok, need another way in). Managed to get the special loot and visited some useless rooms (got some loot though), read a paper in a kitchen, pickpocketed a bit...
So how do I make something HAPPEN ? :p

It is terrible hard to tell how to help, if we do not know which objectives you have currently open.
Since new objectives might be added depending on what you did already we would have to guess - or even worse we would confuse you with suggestions that you can not follow (yet).
Have you been in the
Captains quarters already?

Well, it's quite simple... I haven't done anything useful except

Well, if I recall correct, then you need to visit the Captains quarters first.

Ok, I'll try that but it seems there's a guy standing under the lamp all the time. This mission is very difficult, I'm playing on easy and get caught all the time !!

The difficulty of this mission was to counter the many complaints that I had read about Thief DS being too easy, even on the hardest setting. I hope this doesn't put you off playing it until the end.

I had to restart to play on "Easy" difficulty:p. Now for my last objective I need to find the captain but I couldn't find him anywhere. I hope I didnt screw the mission. Here is it's "status": Both lights are red, his quarter's door is open with a guy in front of it. Garrett saw me and fled on the deck (hopefully without warning anybody)...and I'm waiting at the helm between one male and one female patrolling guards.
Any cheat to skip to next mission would also be appreciated ;)

What exactly does the last objective read like ?
Do you need to
Acquire the Invites ?
I think there is a hint (in the Captains quarters ?) on where to find them:

No sorry. Hmmm... when I played this mission, the captain was on the bridge. And I do not recall having to get something from himself. :confused:
Are you looking for the
telescope ???
Don't know.... it should be
in his quarters, I believe .... or it was to be found
on the bridge.
It would surely help if you would post a spoilered question that is specific enough to ring a bell for somebody.
