What worked for me (running Vista) was to right click the Thief exe, go into properties, compatability, and then click on "run this program as administrator".
The once awol cut-scenes ran fine.
This also worked for System Shock 2.
And remember to run single core (if you have dual or quad). Dark Engine doesn't like these new computers.

Chuck, that's part of ddfix already. If he can get ddfix to run, as long as the "multicorefix=1" in the ddfix.ini, he should be fine.;)

Back!
Sorry for the time without news. It was Christmas New year and School.
I tried for the manual installatio of ddfix and still not working.
I dont think an other solucion exist!? I'm right?
PS: The problem about SUbtitle of Thief 3 is fixed. The solucion was to do a right clik on shortcut and clik on ''Run as an administrator''. I dont't know what is the technical explaination but it work! ;)
I thanks you in advence for Cutscene problem, if an other trick exist. :cheeky:

Hmm. Sounds like you aren't an administrator then.
Regarding ddfix. Hmm, does it still give you the same generic "windows must shut this down" error? And did you try run as admin on thief 1 / 2 as well?

Yes, I tried all this, and still not work. :(
Plus, when I try to install Darkloader, to install Ep graphics, a error message said taht there is an error from the files.
I dowloaded Darloader from an other site and same error message.
I think is because of Vista...

I know I'm being biased, but I think Vista is a piece of sh*t.... It's no wonder there are issues.:erg: Sorry things are not working for you.
Ganondark, check ddfix.ini for multicorefix=1
I think Vista includes .NET Framework already, but to be sure, check your Add/ Remove Programs (or it's equivalent in Vista) and see what version you have.
