Sigh. I can't get T2 working any more. I've had it working in the past on my dual-core win7 system, but now it CTDs on running the exe, not even at the first level or the menu.
With a clean install from my disks (original version I think, not one of the repackages) it CTDs. I cant find any support topics that deal with this. I've tried everything I can think of - compatibility modes, run as administrator, tafferpatcher, everything. Every time I get "Thief 2:The Metal Age Has Stopped Working". I do get the little loading graphic of Garrett on a roof, but then it goes.
Any help?

Do you have(
http://jermi.dyndns.org/~jermi/ddfix/ddfix_1.5.11.zip) ddfix installed? It should solve the problem

Specifically, the multicore processor issue is what is likely the culprit, so TafferPatcher or DDFix should cover it, but may not for some reason. Find out if thief2.exe is set to run on only one core or not.

Imagecfg worked when nothing else would. Neither DDFix or Tafferpatcer (with DDFix) helped, but Imagecfg did.
This should be added to the FAQ. (Maybe it already is and I just missed it?)
