I doubt anyone will be starting up a contest now for the 25th, but it would be cool to see a movement where authors (new and old) are encouraged to come up with something for the anniversary. We've still got about 9 months to go, enough time to come up with a decent medium to large sized mission.

Cool, like using vanilla textures and original assets to make a unique fan mission that reflects the original missions that came with the original game.

You're correct, I have not heard anything posted yet on the forums about the 25th anniversary contest. I'm the first to even mentioned it, well it was going to be mentioned on here eventually anyway. So, I'm glad I reminded the Thief Community about it.

I have the Thief Complete Collection bundle that comes with all 3 games excluding the 2014 reboot, that game doesn't count. It's a separate game in my opinion.

I remember buying it on the day it came out from HMV. If memory serves, it was a couple of weeks before Christmas here in the UK.

I would have loved to see a remaster of the original game for the anniversary, like they did with Tomb Raider. I don't see that happening though, unless it's being done in complete secrecy.
