With only *ONE* week to go, the contest currently has 9 submitted missions with at least 6 more in beta! Make some noise to encourage them. :D

I'm so excited to play everyone's missions! I can't speak for everyone but I feel like these types of things rejuvenate the community as well as public interest in the series as a whole.

Attention authors who use zombies in their missions: vfig has a fix for zombies that behave incorrectly, staying frozen upon reload after being slain and not being able to rise again. If you use zombies and want to fix this, there is still time to do so.

to think of the zombie glitch is scary for me,the way there heads move and body's don't,i did 360 around a zombie once and it was exorcist all over again

I was curious as to whether there is a grace period after the deadline or not? I know we've had a long time to make these missions but I would be grateful for it.
I got held up for a while and hadn't worked on my FM much up until recently so it might not be finished by the deadline. I was just hoping that if that were the case I'd still be able to get it out to be eligible for the contest.

i would say yes since there is so many missions coming out having one come out say a week later seems fair, and would not effect judging ,but usually what ever i say its the opposite ,but how long would you want extra?
cause if not long there would be no way anyone could do all the missions that fast, maybe they can do a late entree sets of missions'that came after deadline,as i am sure some people would be against it as it is the rules
i just think if say a week late no a issue but if over a month seems a bit to long, since others completed it in time
last thought if the mission has a chance to get top 1-3 spots then i would say hustle that mission=all nighters
but if you don't think it will make rank,i would say just release after contest

Yeah I was thinking just a week or 2 that's all, nothing too extreme.
Also yeah I've pretty much been dromeding non-stop the last few days just in case there wasn't any sort of grace period.

A grace period would be unfair to the people who've been hard at work to release on time. I also think a year to make a mission was more than enough. Most contests don't last this long. You can always release the mission later but it won't be counted in the contest.
