Wow. Some nice screenshots already. I better get building. Usually, I build very slowly, but it seems I will have to step up my game.
Yandros, a 2 mission campaign? You are a machine!!

Only because the story I have planned requires two areas which are too far apart to make the player travel in game. I measured it out and if I am faithful to the city map it would be about 20x the size of Assassins to cover the space in between Downtowne and North Quarter. Splitting it up also allows me to have a cutscene/briefing in between them too.

amazing stuff but omg that original lava texture in thief is in my view the most outdated texture for motion in game, bentraxx spoiled me with his lava update (

you all have plenty of time :) who will be the first person to ask for an extension, when the contest draws near :(

I'm still planning out my mission, but I will say it involves some city streets, some sewers, and a manor.
@downwinder: I think that's why participants were given a full year for this contest, so there would be plenty of time to build and test a mission before the deadline, and therefore, no reason why anyone should need extra time.

No extension to the deadline will be allowed. Thief: The Dark Project was released on 29th November 1998, so the point of this anniversary contest is to release all the contest missions on 29/11/2018. If anyone misses this deadline they will need to release their mission later as a non-contest mission.
