And of course they talk about "homages" to the original T2 bank level to get the diehards all nostalgic and more willing to shell out their 60 bucks.

Preorder missions tend to turn up as DLC sooner or later. The "Tong rescue mission" for DXHR is available for 2 euros on Steam, for instance. The bank mission was one of my favourites in T2, so I'm hoping to get my hands on this one at some point.

Hey guys, to be clear: the glow is
NOT reflective of gameplay, there is no golden glow actually coming from the vault in the game. This effect was simply added to obscure the view inside the vault and prevent spoilers.
In that case, it would have been less douche chillingly hack to have immediately cut the video as the safe cracks open—plus it would add a real sense of heightened tense and excitement. Frankly, I'm surprised that, as the safe opens, Inception horns weren't blaring away. How else am I to know when to be excited without the damned Inception horns?

"THE HARDEST SAFE TO CRACK IS IN THE BIGGEST BANK"
haha, what kind of tagline is that even
THE MOST INTERESTING BARGAINS ARE THE CHEAPEST ONES
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GOOSE IS THE ONE WHICH WON THE CONTEST
THE BEST DIGITAL TO ANALOG CONVERTER INTERFACE IS THE ONE FOR WHICH THE SIGNAL-TO-NOISE RATIO IS THE HIGHEST WHILE MINIMIZING HARMONIC DISTORTION WITH THE LARGEST SAMPLING RATE POSSIBLE
"THE BUSIEST HOOKER IS THE ONE LAYING ON HER BACK"
It makes one think, has this all been written by a five-year old?
I do love that Garrett has to vocalize, "I'm in." Well no shit. What is he doing, talking into some sort of communication device? Is this Thief: The Black Ops?!

Ha ha. I think we knew that b1skit, this is just messing about. It's not like that method hasn't been used for years in games and films.
I think I know what's in there too.
The contents of Marcellus Wallace's briefcase.

Look between 0.38 sec and 0.42 sec, there are cameras like first city bank and trust.
But this level looks generic, the level design seems like the same as the baron level.

did I really just see Garrett using the main entrance to "get in" ?
I don't post often in the t4 ancticipation thread because I am not very pleased with what I saw/heard/read sofar about the game and there is just nothing much to say about it.
but...that....trailer...is....just....plain...bad
why has there been no trailer sofar that concentrates on things that could make that game more interesting for old and new customers ? like ... multiple routes...multiple ways of stealth and/or combat ?
why do I have the feeling splinter cell blacklist is more Thief than this and their marketing (although overkill with around 1000000 trailers) was far better ?
the only thing this game has going for it for me sofar are the concept art pieces they released and, well, they are concept art, not ingame art (even if some of them are rathe ridiculous like that stupid bow).

Yup, looks like there are cameras.
How does that work then?

Well, you see, if they spot you, an alarm goes off.
