Bit rough around the edges at the moment, literally. But here's a Silhouette chroma key shot a bit like the ones in the game cutscenes. There'll be a lot of those throughout.

Going from light to shadow and back is gonna be very important for scene creation. I've been experimenting with ways to achieve this, and this here is an early result, using a clip I posted earlier. Adding and layering these effects will be the quicker 2nd half of the job, and the bit I enjoy the most ^_^. Right now I just gotta lay out the meat of the visuals to get the story down, then I'll be going back and adding lighting effects, flares, dust, set pieces, extra people. Could potentially pull a George Lucas haha.
Plot wise, as I said before I have a rough story arch all leading to set up the events of the 1st game. But I also have been doing serious homework on writing, character development, twists. All that good stuff. As I said before, the animation is really not my main area, that would be sound design. And seeing as the animation will be crude, I know that the sound and more importantly the story and characters will need to be on point. Ima make sure of that.

I love it when a scene comes together. Smoothing out the edges in the transitions, making sure no turd goes unpolished.. and I got to use my steam powered alarm clock ^_^.

I'm planning to do a podcast or a video just explaining where in the timeline this story will take place, and what affiliations are involved in the plot. I won't be straying into spoiler territory so I'll have to be a bit vague, but if you taffers have any questions ye want me to address therein, drop them here or on the facebook page and I'll be sure to include em.
Casting call is still and always open. All faces welcome. I'd like to not have to repeat faces that often.
And all faces will get a mention in the credits, by name or stage name.
