The title pretty much says it all. The graphics card is a geforce 9XXX GT afair (I think, I can't remeber exactly what it is), the processor is a quad core affair and the system runs Windows Vista Home Premium. From what I've searched, some people have had success, some none, but in all cases it was always a dual core processor.
I'm going to have a play around tomorrow and see how it goes, but if anyone could give any hints in advance would be nice - or is it pretty much stick to the methods other people have done?

Aha okay, so it was simply a case of installing DDFix
Actually, I was able to play (without movies) for a good bit into the first game before it crashed. I was actually rather chuffed up until that point.
Question though - If I attempt to play at 1280x1024 the menus stretch (as if it was widescreen on a 4:3). Is this a limitation or is it fixable? Also is it normal for a noticeable decrease in quality of the menus and readables?
Anyway off to try dromed now....
