So you can't just hit printscreen and then paste the resulting information into an image program?
I'd muster a guess that the answer is no. In that case, I can add this information to the FAQ.

Wherever it needs to be moved is fine with me. To answer your question, Gadwin saves the images to a directory of your choice, no having to leave the game and paste it into an image program. You can also decide what format to save in, options such as .jpg, .gif, .png, and others.
So when Gadwin is turned on, print screen will work like I described; otherwise, when you turn off Gadwin, print screen will work as normal. I just found it rather cumbersome to take multiple images, some while in motion, and then have to return to the desktop after each time I pressed the print screen button. With this, I can take many images and then browse through for the "keepers" later ;)

Ah, I see. I can see how that would be much more useful (and efficient) than just using print screen (without gadwin I mean.)

Any hope for win7 x64 users if after registering LGVID.AX movies still doesn't play?

Try running as admin, if not already.
EDIT: Oh, registering LGVID.AX isn't needed with NewDark anymore, now is it? Use it.

Yes, if you use NewDark then the movies should play with no problem.
However, if you insist on keeping 1.18 (either for not wanting to use NewDark or for Thief 2 multiplayer or otherwise) then we'd have to investigate this further, which should be in a separate thread.

I had a problem running Thief 2 and had to reinstall the game. I updated to 1.18 and the game missions seemed to run just fine. I then decided to upgrade to New Dark which I did and now the game has problems. The game is so dark that you can see very little. I went into the controls and discovered that the gamma setting would no longer work. This caused the mission to become unplayable.
No matter where I slid the control, it would not control the light and dark of the game. Is there some patch for this or do I just have to reinstall the game and start over.

Ok, I tried this, but still too dark to play.
