I can't find the stupid thief ring that is supposedly in the starter cave outside of the starter city. Yes, I found all the passage-ways and swimming holes. Yes, I equipped a torch for visibility. But I just can't see the ring. Anyone help lead me there? I'm using an "armorer character" (love that mod!), so my sneak and security are both low. This ring could help loads. Thanks in advance. :)

Alright, this is a little tricky near the end... bear with me:
1) From the entrance, follow the path until you come to where you go up to the left or down to the right. Do what Mulder did in the X-Files movie (ie: go straight)
2) Follow that path along until you come to a place where there's a small cave that drops off to the right into some water.
3) Look at the skeletal remains in here, amidst some mushrooms; note that there's one intact rib cage and two long bones.
4) If you were to draw a line into infinity from each end of those bones and from the ribcage, one of those bones would form a 90-degree angle with the rib cage; the ring's where those two imaginary lines meet.
(Two more pointers: a) A nearby netch pauldron points away from it, and b) it's under where one root [that protrudes from the ceiling] ends)

Thanks, found it. I was saved right on top of the thing. I had remembered reading about it on these forums somewhere and thought that I remembered that it was among skeletal ruins... Not all that great but will help, especially early. Oh well, thanks again. Next I'm gonna go max out my sneak attack.
Now... where's that stupid paperweight?

Ah.... Um... I mean... Gosh! That's fairly, erm, precise.

*grin* Well, if you want to be picky it's more like a 87 degree angle, but who's counting? ;)
