For the conflict between the people in the thief's team, i've read someone working at eidos montreal complaining that someone (important person, a lead ......)involved in the project does damage on the production because he applies all what he has learned at ubisoft campus from A to Z.
It saddens me to hear such a thing...:(

I hope that what I've written is understandable. Sorry my english is awful :cheeky:
Actually, it's quite good, as all points expressed are perfectly understandable.

That sounds like it's in line with the information that's leaked so far regarding conflict within the T4 dev team. Doesn't surprise me in the least. And no, wd, we wouldn't want your friend to get into any trouble on our account. I think we Taffers all have a pretty good idea that things aren't what EM wants everyone to believe they are on the T4 team. Your English is fine, btw.

I'm not sure you're having the same conversation I'm having.
Nearly had me falling off my chair I was laughing so hard (only because it reminded me of the old 'Who's on first' comedy routine). I understood what you were saying though, Viv. Point taken.
Oh Q. Words just cannot express. <3 <3

Saying there's an internal Ubisoft influence at the core of things also sort of sounds like another way of saying there's a tension between how much the game is going to be designed in the same fashion as Assassin's Creed, even if not a clone ... like a struggle over what kind of game it's going to be. That also plays into the long development time and experiments, and we know there was an AC like parkour sequence in the media demo.

Shouldn't that be from A to C...

Which would lower the price of the IP more, a cancelled game or a released game that fails miserably?
If Thief could be liberated from eidos/ubisofts greasy indenture and purchased by bethesda/Arkane,
it would be worth the 3rd person-parkour-superhero-pottymouthed-reboot failing spectacularly!
I mean heavens gate-colonial marines spectacular!
