According to a source, the demo took nearly 10 months of development time, roughly six of which required the participation of nearly every content creator on the team.

Ditto! What's scary is that it could be so close to being truth. ;) Great take on the situation though, DaNtAn. Did a spit-take while laughing-mao.

I dunno. Smoking a bunch of weed usually makes you come up with more interesting ideas, not Vice Versa. Unless you're actually a boring person. Plus, I have written good code high. Why not? Sometimes it helps. You are trying to visualise logical solutions to complex problems, not do any particularly complex maths (the computer does that), so dissociatives can be handy sometimes.

Not attacking that particular practice here or the pros/cons of one's creative abilities while partaking, Viv. I remember having the cleanest coffee table-top in the neighborhood because I was so 'focused' at times. I also remember sitting through more than a few green lights too, though. ;)

BUT, a decision to make it more like Assassins Creed (which I'm sure was on the table at some point, let's not kid ourselves) would have been a properly conscious, cynical decision. A cocaine decision. Not a 5-bowls-down-holy-shit-diagnosis-murder-is-really-set-in-the-afterlife type decision.

Did they mean more like AC completely, or just certain parts of AC that were good? I liked the "flow" offered by this game during physical movement.
I've never played the game myself... just watched other people during visits to friends.

what, in this hypothetical drug-induced conversation? I don't know.
thiefessa on 12/5/2013 at 14:29
Hehe... well coffee certainly counts.. and I've had two cups. :cheeky:
