Update!
I have begun working on introductory missions as well as a grand campaign for later. I ahve uploaded a nearly finished introductory mission named "In Hiding" which will introduce players to;
Hammerites
docks district, stonemarket district, sewers
the criminal underclass
The City Watch
The next mission will be called "Dreams that Kill" and as it seems now will give players introductions to;
pagans in the city,
nobility and more districts
ghosts and spirituality
During these missions the players will have the chance to make an "impression" on the world, making friends and enemies and taking sides.
They will have a chance to ally with factions and begin to find their place in the city.

I'm starting to work on an RPG game for a couple of friends, taking them through the world of thief (neither have played the game) and may even take them through a modified Dark Project.
Does anyone still have these files from the original discussion? I'd love to see them for ideas.
