I've heard somebody's working on the "Thieves Arsenal" Mod which will add all the gear we have in Thief to Oblivion, including rope arrows you can actually climb in and noise arrows.
Will this mod finally turn Oblivion into a game you can play like Thief? I don't know but it seems to be getting close; now only for some added missions that make use of this gear...
please add more when you know of mods that will enable a 'Thief-like' experience within Morrowind. I also cannot find a page for this 'thieves arsenal' yet, only seen a video of it, so i know it works :)

No, this should clearly be included in the prominent, stickied, 'Oblivion Mods' thread, especially given that it already includes a section specifically on Thiefy mods.

thanks for the reply, but i thought a more thief like experience thread by using mods would be in place since it would change the style of playing more like being "Thief". I'd like to hear more about playing oblivion in thief style so therefore a separate thread; i usually don't make threads here, just read them...

A thread about playing in a Thief style is one thing, and is to be welcomed, particularly as the other Thief-related threads have dropped off the front page; a thread needlessly duplicating part of another thread is not. I'd suggest that you link to that part of the 'Oblivion Mods' thread, then use this to discuss Thief tactics etc. :)

There is really no need in another Thief-related thread - there are some of them already... Searching does it, after all. BTW, it is much more interesting to read through already created theads that often answer even more questions than you would probably ask :) And it may appear a preciousssss knowledge :)
