That's mainly what I was referring to, since we haven't had an update on the "Sneak Mode" rumor at all, unlike the reduction of 3rd-Person stuff.
Another mystery that looks to be put to rest is that it's not Thief Modern. Back when I read this:
Quote:
PC Gamer's ‘Spy' all but reveals in his usual way in the next issue (on sale 7th May[, 2009]) that Eidos Montreal are indeed working on Thief 4. Incidentally the ‘Spy' alludes that the previous plans for a new Thief to be set in the modern era have been shelved.
...At the time it was potentially good news if it wasn't a BS article, with that one concern high on the fans' lists, and when I expressed I was glad to hear that it was looking like we
weren't getting the dreaded Thief Modern, René had to go and say "Says who?" Weird we had to wait so long after the 2009 announcement, and before 2013, just to cement the truth of it.

It was Ion Storm Austin who were considering the modern setting for Thief; this had nothing to do with EM.

Oh, don't tell them that. If they find evidence that you're correct a blood vessel might pop.

Some strange fantasies you have there, SubEff. Hope it wasn't a wet dream.

Very odd, indeed.

I agree with Starker and thiefessa...We are all very sorry to hear of your strange, unfounded fantasies.

...and SubJeff, please stop scaring the girls.

Fear not, I don't scare easy.
Besides, Subjective Effect doesn't strike me as someone who has psychotic tendencies. :cheeky: So I'm not worried about him at all. He rocks.

Subby, truth is a relief. Any popped vessels come from the d***ing around. With the insane backlogs of games in certain quarters, what does it say about those titles that forum bickering over made-up problems is more entertaining? Compared to the huge piles of BS flung by sheep in monkey's clothing (with plastic shark teeth?), the pain of truth is like lancing a festering boil. Truth delivered by obfuscators requires they step aside and let the source do the talking.

Truth is something you know nothing of and care less about.
