That looks awful, but something has clearly gone wrong with converting their designs to a physical replica. The detailing (especially around the abdomen) does not look ghastly in the concept art.

I completely agree; the outfit looks good in the concept art.
The New York fashion designers who created this could have done a better job, imho - or perhaps the fault lies with the mannequin being far too thin?
Shame they didn't get a real-life look-a-like to model the outfit.

Yep...that's the problem with this kind of uniform. Once it's actually made with the real materials, only then do you discover it's true appearance.

They need a better mannequin for future shows.
So, who modeled it for the team and put it through its paces? Will we see a video?
