Missing characters? It seems odd to have to alter the style sheet to get it to work with your machine. Sure you haven't got some trouble with your fonts? I've not personally had this sort of trouble using Linux, so while it may "fix" your problem, I suspect some underlying issue.
You're right - I should have edited my post.
It was caused by my use of Verdana on Linux, with antialiasing turned off at low point sizes. I guess the browser was expecting the font to be antialiased and aligned it accordingly, which caused the error. It looks OK now I have gone back to the default Fedora fonts.
I still think that pixel sizes are evil though, because they prevent the browser sizing the font according to the user's preferences and screen size (unless he manually adjusts it on each and every visit).

I'd recommend that wiki users do a search on a topic they are about to create a page for - it will avoid duplication.

There's a lot that should work its way into the wiki, as there's an awful lot of very useful, if disorganised, information sitting in forum posts going back to march last year.
Maybe it's time the [wiki]T3edTutorials[/wiki] page was split up into more useful subcategories (with their own pages, rather than just a huge list like it is now); it's quite crowded already and would be even more so with the stuff from this thread.
From looking at what's there already, I think maybe Basics, AI, Scripting, Objects, Sound, and Troubleshooting would be a good starting point (though I'm sure there'd be others needed too).

I was thinking along the same lines myself. The subpages could probably also give an overview of each important area to help people get a feel for each as a particular stage of map building.
It'd also be good to get some discussion going in the wiki thread about organising the content further. In fact, given the way I've started on thread reconstruction, I should move these posts now...

I added Krypt and ProjectX's scripting pages into the tutorial pages under their own heading, but making it more heirarchical would definitely help. More navigation between the various pages would be good too, some pages don't seem to be linked to anywhere and can only be found via search.

And while we're at it, could you put a link to ScriptingReference on the front page under "Useful pages", scumble? I don't know if it really belongs there, but it definitely doesn't belong under T3edTutorials. It's a reference, not a tutorial. :)
GlasWolf - Looks good, even if it's a bit *too* fragmented given the amount of content in there now. :) But I guess things should be easy to find.
Also, I think "Early Performance Tips" should go under Mission Design -> Lighting as well as Mission Design, since most of the performance tips are lighting-related.
I don't know that player upgrades go under Inventory Objects - just straight Gameplay, surely?
Anyway, it's certainly a good start.

Crispy - I think it makes sense to have the scripting reference in a prominent position, so I put a link on the home page. Still, that page probably needs some work done on it. It needs to really give a good overview of all the major areas, rather than just linking to a bunch of pages.

I agree, but I think it will encourage more people to add some of the simpler tips and tricks that aren't worthy of a full-blown tutorial but seem out of place at the moment (if that makes sense). It also makes the less well-covered areas obvious.

Great, thanks.
It does need work, but I guess a wiki is always "in progress". :)
