Ok your using the latest nvidia gfx driver, try uninstalling that and installing an older version - (

i have the same problems above also did all the steps to fix but Thief Gold would not run.
I have
Intel P4 2.0 Ghz
Win Xp SP pack 3
1024 Mb of Ram
160 gb HD
Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS 512 mb AGP.

Post more details please, whatever you can find in the crash dialog. Sometimes it crashes due to THIEF.EXE, and sometimes LGVID.AX. Different solutions for each.

Never mind. Its working now. I downloaded Dark Engine fix. It did not work before and i did not now that i need MS framework 2.0 to run the fix.
