Hello. I have recently attempted to make thief gold run on my computer and it has went well. However, I always wanted a mouse scroll function on my games. I found the TaffinMouse program that creates this.
Anyways, TaffinMouse has problems with Darkloader because Taffinmouse is an .exe file that runs Thief.exe and itself. While the game is playing, a background program binds the page up and down fuction to the mouse scroll. Darkloader only allows the user to apply the folder in which the file Thief.exe rests. I want to have Darkloader recognize the TaffinMouse, but when and if I rename Thief.exe or the taffin program, it obviously fails to work. :nono: I tried shortcuts and renaming, but the Darkloader program has to have Thief.exe. :confused:
I hope someone can help me. I usually can figure these things out for myself, its just that this problem I don't think can be fixed. I want to play fan missions and eventually, possibly create them, but I also want mouse scroll to search for weapons. Hopefully someone can help, thanks. :thumb:

Neva mind. I didn't see there was a source included. The author gladly helped and I edited the game .exe to read Thief1, not Thief, and it works. Thanks everyone.
