THIEF GOLD / SYSTEM SHOCK 2 intros problem

I have installed THIEF GOLD (Mastertronic Version) and SYSTEM SHOCK 2 (Original Version, patched). Whenever I click on the intro option on the menu or start a new game, the intro does not play. I have checked the cam.cfg and there is a skip_intro command line in there that even if I delete it, reappears on its own again. How can I make the intro movies play? Any help would be appreciated.

I have windows 7 64bit ultimate.

you should check your computer for viruses-something is apparently automatically enlarging all text in your posts.

as for the video problem,you need a codec pack to play the videos,it seems like most people over here use (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-Lite_Codec_Pack) k-lite or (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combined_Community_Codec_Pack) cccp.
