Hey everyone,
So I've looked EVERYWHERE (and on this site) on the internet for help with Thief Gold not working properly on Vista. The installation goes perfectly, but as soon as I turn on the game there's no sound at all. Sorry if there is an answer to this somewhere, I couldn't find it anywhere. :p

64bit or 32bit? what sound card do you have? (integrated or not)

See if toggling the "Hardware Sound" setting makes a difference. On my computer when Hardware Sound is on, everything drops to a volume where you can barely hear it. So I put up without it (arggh, waste of a 5.1 system but bleh :( )

AFAIK, You need a proper EAX card for hardware sound.
