There's no fog in Thief1/Gold I believe; it was a T2 addition.
There's fog in T2 OM's but there's also many FM's that use fog. I may be biased, but those FM's that are designed to have fog look so much better when fog is actually working properly. [The first mission of Calendra's Legacy springs to mind]

Yes, also "Dracula - The Love Thief". It has awesome scenarios with the fog working inside.
